Join The LyIT Virtual Open Day On 19th November

Letterkenny Institute of Technology's Virtual Open Day takes place from 10am to 6pm this Thursday 19 November on openday.lyit.ie 

The platform will come live at 10am on Thursday 19 November and attached is LYIT's Virtual Open Day Brochure 2020.

How to Use the LYIT Virtual Open Day Platform?

During the event, students, parents and teachers can 'Live Chat' directly with LYIT's academic staff, student support staff and students. You can ask your question privately or publicly - whichever option you prefer. Simply click on the 'Live Chat' link and ask your question. The 'Live Chat' option will be open between 10am and 6pm on Thursday 19 November. It closes at 6pm so use this platform, do access our LYIT team when you have the chance.

LYIT is Donegal's Institute of Technology and we have most recently been awarded Sunday Times Runner-up Institute Technology of the Year, beaten by Waterford IT, and we are so proud of this recent award.  We offer unique programmes at LYIT, CAO programmes in Physiotherapy, Dietetics, Occupational Therapy, Law, Veterinary Nursing, Biomedical Engineering,  Sports & Exercise with PE or Performance (allows progression to PME in PE Teaching), Fire Safety Engineering, Nursing, Culinary Arts and much, much more. Our campuses have 4,500 students and in total we offer 54 CAO programmes ranging from Level 6 to Level 8.

There will be six Live Webinars during the virtual event and the webinars will be delivered via Zoom. You register for these Live Talks on the links listed below. There will be talks for parents; talks about student finance and grants; a talk about student life ; a talk on HEAR and DARE and a talk about Making a CAO application - a total of 6 Live Webinars. The platform will include Department/Course talks from each of the nine LYIT departments; the platform will include an interactive campus tour of the Letterkenny and Killybegs campus - we want you to see inside our campus and our amazing facilities; we will also have a 'Welcome Message' from LYIT President, Paul Hannigan.
