In DBS, we ensure that there is a lot more to college than what goes on inside the classroom. It is hugely important to have a lively college life, making friends and memories that will last long after your time in the classroom has ended. DBS offers various supports to students such as welfare supports, academic supports and a peer-to-peer mentoring programme. The Student Experience team arranges exciting and fun events for students to participate and make connections with other students beyond their course of study. We ensure that each student makes the most out of their college experience at DBS! Click here to get more information about the DBS Student Experience.

Welfare Supports:
We actively promote the mental health and well-being of all our students. We provide students with regular health and well-being workshops such as managing anxiety, mindfulness, self-care and steps to wellbeing. We provide students with free, independent counselling services where we refer to a professional counsellor if required. Our Students’ Union Welfare Team have weekly online tea & chats where the team have an opportunity to catch up with students and see how they are getting on in class and outside of the classroom environment. They also organise a Mental Health Week - which focus on putting on events for the students well-being.
