Two New Scholarships for Students entering TU838 'BSc in Sustainable Timber Technology' in TU Dublin
Posted on April 19, 2022
TU Dublin is delighted to announce that two scholarships have been secured for students entering TU838 'BSc in Sustainable Timber Technology' in September 2022. As the class sizes are small (max. 32 students), there is a 1:16 chance of the next cohort of students having their fees paid for four years, at the same time as developing a relationship with a leading company in the Timber Industry.
The companies providing the scholarships are Finsa Ireland and Murray Timber Group. Finsa Ireland is a Spanish company with a long history in Ireland. They manage sawmills, board mills and a mass timber (CLT) factory and provide a range of high-quality innovative products to markets across the world, including Ireland. Murray Timber is one of the largest, most progressive and flexible sawmills in Ireland with plants in Galway and Co. Carlow. This kind of engagement makes clear the extent to which Industry values this unique programme and its future graduates.
