TU Dublin students capture the soul of Dublin's Inner City during Covid-19 lockdown
The Liberty – a newspaper produced by students for the local community since 1998 – has gone 100% online, with second-year students from the BA Journalism on the phone and combing social media for stories from the Liberties area and the northwest inner city, around the university's new Grangegorman campus.
The results can be seen on www.theliberty.ie, with a wide range of stories: from the hospital frontlines and food-delivery services to the gyms and GAA clubs that have gone virtual.
The result is a living portrait of communities trying to keep up health and spirits amid an unprecedented crisis.
