TU795: Visual Merchandising & Display at TU Dublin – Grangegorman

Visual Merchandising & Display at TU Dublin – Grangegorman is a three year full time course that will prepare students for a career in Visual Merchandising and Retail Displaying. These skills are highly necessary for the fashion industry and as such there are plenty of employment opportunities.

Learners will develop the skills and strategies to confidently and creatively display retail items, with a sense of brand image and consumer behaviour in mind.

Subjects of study include graphic design, drawing and digital presentation, the history of retail and fashion design, fashion accessory production and fashion styling to name but a few.

Students will plan and execute a major Self-Directed Retail project.

Entry Requirements:

Students are required to prepare and submit a portfolio prior when applying to this course. As of 2022, the points required for this course are 559, which includes points achieved from the portfolio submission. Applicants are also required to have a minimum of five subjects at O6/H7 grade.
