GMIT New CAO Course for 2020 - Teacher Education – Art, Design and Graphics
Teacher Education – Art, Design and Graphics
GMIT has added a new Teacher Education degree to the CAO, for September 2020 entry. Graduates from this new 4-year Bachelor of Education (Hons) in Art, Design and Graphics will be able to teach both Art, and Design & Communication Graphics in Irish secondary schools. Students will do a placement every year in a range of educational settings, predominantly within post-primary schools. Design-led projects focused on design, art techniques, CAD and graphics will ensure graduates are competent and confident in their role as a professional teacher.
