Fiona O’Donnell, ATU Galway-Mayo Careers Officer, says: “The ATU Careers Service are delighted to be involved in the upcoming Open Day. We will be available for Career Clinic Consultations with some tips on helping you choose the right course for you. Students have found excellent benefit in these consultations as it allows them to meet a Careers Advisor on a one-to-one basis, helping them understand and recognise their existing skill set.”

Lorraine Cunningham, ATU Galway-Mayo Schools Liaison Officer, says: “We are really looking forward to hosting our first Open Morning on ATU’s Galway City Campus at the Dublin Road since gaining university status. This year we have had so much to celebrate with also marking our 50th year of delivering third level education to the region. With the 2023 CAO application opening on the 4 November at 12:00, this is a perfect opportunity for students and their families to begin their in-person research. This Open Morning will provide a great opportunity to learn about the CAO process, financial supports and university life, along with finding out about all our CAO programmes.

There will be regular tours of the campus and the facilities by our fantastic student ambassadors that will give a flavour of what it is like to be a student on programmes in ATU. We will have a special culinary masterclass not to be missed from ATU Culinary graduate, Louise Robbie providing a family focused cooking demonstration.”

For those visiting ATU Galway City campus with accessibility or additional requirements, who would like to avail of assistance or supports on the day, please contact [email protected] before Friday 4 November, 2022.
