Higher Education Course of the Week: AU630 – International Hotel and Hospitality Management at ATU Galway

International Hotel and Hospitality Management at ATU Galway is a reputable four year Level 8 course and was the first hotel management degree to be offered in Ireland. This course will equip students with the skills necessary to secure employment in the tourism and hospitality industry in Ireland and abroad. Lecturers from this course are skilled professionals with years of industry experience. Teaching is delivered through a combination of theoretical academic and practical learning, aimed at maximizing the students’ learning experience.

At the end of first year students take part in a mandatory 12-week workplace in Ireland and at the end of Year 2 students go abroad and complete a mandatory 30-week work placement.

Entry Requirements

As of 2022 the points required for this course were 228. Applicants will need a minimum of F2/O6/H7 in Irish or a O6/H7 in English and F2/O6/H7 in Maths.
