Heritage Studies at ATU Galway / Mayo is a 3 year full time CAO course and aims to equip students provide you a broad knowledge of the built, cultural and natural heritages of Ireland and Europe. It will also provide you with an understanding the importance of heritage resource management and its role in the safeguarding of national monuments, architecture, artefacts, archives, cultural landscapes, habitats, flora and fauna.
The historic environment supports 40,000 jobs in Ireland brings in €1.5 billion in revenue annually.
Field trips are an essential and important elements of the course.

Entry Requirements:
As of 2022, the points required for this course were 255. Applicants will need a
F2/O6/H7 IN Irish or a O6/H7 inEnglish F2/O6/H7 in Maths.
