DK850 – International Tourism Management at Dundalk Institute of Technology is a three year full time programme aimed at giving students the skills they to build and shape the Irish tourism industry or tourism sectors abroad. Graduates of this course will have a well rounded skillset of business management, human resource management, marketing, sustainability and cross cultural awareness. Learners will learn more about the fast-paced and exciting world of tourism and the nuances of communicating and interacting with people of other cultures.
There is a emphasis on professional work placements throughout the course. Students of this course will develop strong analytical skills and the ability to think of creative solutions to the many challenges facing the tourism sector and manage teams effectively.

Entry Requirements:
As of 2022, the points required for this course are 210. Applicants are required to have a minimum of 2 H5 and 4 O6/H7, a minimum of O6/H7 in English, Irish and Maths.
