Posted on June 30, 2020 What do you love about the Irish coast? Fishing, aquaculture, shipping and tourism make an important economic contribution to our coastal communities and provide employment for many.

Here at the NMCI, Captains, pilots and officers come from all over the world to train in our bride simulators, including our 360° Kongsberg Full Mission Bridge Simulator.

They practice various shipping manoeuvres in the safety of a simulated environment with our highly skilled instructors. This training helps prevent accidents at sea and protects both the crew, the environment and our coastlines.
