MTU Professional Diploma in Education - Home Economics

The Department of Tourism and Hospitality will be hosting a webinar on Thursday 12th May at 6pm regarding the launch of their new Professional Diploma in Education - Home Economics

This programme is aimed specifically at registered post-primary school teachers who have a passion for Home Economics and wish to be formally qualified to teach Home Economics to the highest level at post-primary level

The 65 ECTs programme is taught over 2 years and is delivered both online and on the Bishopstown Cork Campus. Over the duration of the two years, students will study modules encompassing the core areas of:

- Home Economics Studies & Pedagogy

- Food Health & Culinary Skills

- Responsible Family Living

- Textiles & Craft
