Beverage Industry Management at MTU Cork Campus is a modern three year course that provides education and knowledge with a strong creative and entrepreneurial approach to bar management. Graduates of this course will enter the Tourism and Hospitality industry which is a rapidly growing sector. Other sectors graduates of this course will be qualified to work within are Business Management & Human Resources and the Food and Beverages sector. The course aims to equip students with high quality operational skills in areas such as drinks service and stylish food preparation and service, with an emphasis on practical activities.

There are also opportunities for work placements which enable students to put theory provided in class into practice in a workplace setting.

Entry Requirements.

As of 2022 the points required for this course are 204. Applicants will need a minimum of O6/H7 in English or Irish and O6/H7 in Maths.
