This one year course is the first step to a career in dance. This course provides a comprehensive experience in a wide range of dance styles and techniques. Students develop core skills that can help advance to more specialised professional dance opportunities in performance or in education. Graduates from this course progress to higher education or they continue to dance professionally or to teach dance. This course offers an opportunity to improve and perfect technical dance skills across a range of dance disciplines and to gain an introduction to teaching qualifications. All students will take ISTD exams. Applicants are expected to demonstrate a high level of motivation, commitment and a passion for dance.
