This well-established and successful course is designed to enable the student to develop good drawing and observational skills and knowledge of a wide range of other media and techniques. We emphasise the importance of an individual approach to study through a broad range of projects allowing each student to build on personal interests and talents. One of the main aims of the course is to prepare a comprehensive portfolio that will help students in progressing to higher education. Stillorgan College enjoys an excellent record in enabling students to achieve entry into the top Art & Design colleges, both in Ireland and the UK.
