This course is designed to prepare students for employment in the tourism and travel industries. Core modules prepare students for work in the ever-expanding tourism sector. Students are offered the opportunity to complete the "Ready for Take off" programme leading to a Diploma in International Travel Industry Studies certified by the International Academy of Travel (IAOT). This allows students to avail of the many employment opportunities in the aviation sector, at home and abroad. There is a strong emphasis on communications and customer service skills, and students will develop their ability in problem-solving and dealing with the public.
