You need a cool head and the ability to work under pressure in emergency healthcare. It is challenging, rewarding and fast-paced. This exciting course teaches you about the skills and theory you will need to work in the emergency services. It is a great foundation for you if you wish to work in emergency care as a paramedic in the ambulance service. You will be given the opportunity to choose the right career path as you develop your education and knowledge on this course. The work experience element will allow you to apply the theory to practice and on successful completion of the course you may seek employment with the HSE, private agencies or nursing homes in the healthcare sector.
