This course provides students with an introduction to the Irish legal system and general law subjects. It is suited to students who wish to progress to a degree in law at third level. This course is designed to help students develop the essential skills and techniques which form the basis for a career in business, commerce, public service or the legal industry. It will also enable learners to obtain a general understanding of legal principles and allow them to appreciate the role of the law in their personal and vocational lives. It is also intended to prepare learners for employment or further study in related areas.
