NLN delivers a number of catering courses which offers students the opportunity to achieve all or part of the NFQ Level 4 Certificate in Catering Support. Work experience is a significant element of this course and students can benefit from training in one our many state-of-the-art production kitchens.

The courses are designed to give students the skills and work behaviours needed to get and keep a job in the hotel, catering and tourism sector. The course is also designed to address the identified training needs of people with disabilities who are experiencing exclusion and labour market disadvantage, to provide learner-focussed training and related services and to assist the learner to achieve a nationally recognised qualification, which will aid progression to further training and/or education and employment.
