Course Summary

Community Education BA in Community Studies, is a flexible, part-time evening degree designed specifically for adults. 

Community Studies programme you will study a range of subjects including Adult and Community Education; Anthropology; Applied Social Studies; Sociology. Modules on Social Analysis give people the theoretical tools to critique modern society. Modules on Counselling Theories; Youth and Community; and Substance Misuse and Dependence afford the opportunity for people to engage perhaps for the first time with the kind of skills and understanding of people who work in a developmental way within marginalised communities.
