Course Summary
This course is a three-year full-time level 7 programme designed to provide students with the knowledge and skills required to perform effectively at the supervisory level within the tourism and hospitality services sector. The programme aims to provide students with strong operational, business, management, and marketing skills to enhance their supervisory expertise.
Year 1: Learners will undertake their studies in Carlow Institute of Further Education and Training (KCETB) Apply to Carlow
Years 2 & 3: Learners will undertake their studies in SETU (South East Technical University) Waterford Campus.
Launched in 2023, Tertiary Education Programmes are a new pathway to a bachelor’s degree. A joint further and higher education degree programme, tertiary education programmes begin in a local Education and Training Board Centre (College of Further Education and Training) and finish in a University. All tertiary education programmes lead to an NFQ level 7 or 8 degree.
