They include manufacturing system design and operation, lean engineering, mechanical engineering, product design, CADCAM, the introduction of new technology, process and methods engineering, production and materials management, quality engineering, industrial engineering, manufacturing engineering, customer liaison engineering and research as well as opportunities in business analysis, technical marketing and project management in diverse areas of engineering. Some graduates have also chosen to pursue careers in general business management or finance. Depending on the level of attainment, graduates may proceed to appropriate postgraduate courses or research.
