This intensive course provides you with the creative ability to visually communicate your design ideas and the technical skills to produce complete costumes, hair and make-up for performers.

Areas of general study include research, design development, drawing and illustration, pattern drafting and costume construction for the realisation of 2D designs into 3D. You will also learn practical skills for hair/wig and make-up design and application.

    Costume design, illustration and drawing

    Work experience is in collaboration with the Performance department and the Technical Theatre department on designing shows for public performance.
