The aim of this full time course is to provide candidates with expertise, experience and knowledge in accounting, in the areas such as financial accounting and budgeting, costing and credit control, payroll and tax returns for various types of business.

Accounting Technicians will possess the knowledge, skills and competencies to either work on their own or alongside professional accountants. The programme has been designed to provide business with personnel who are skilled in accounting techniques.

On successful completion of this course learners will be awarded the Diploma in Accounting Technician from Accounting Technicians Ireland.

*Note that the Certificate in Accounting Technician is a prerequisite to entry for the Diploma.
