This is a one year full time course designed for students wishing to pursue a career in the sports/leisure/recreation/ nutrition industry. This course combines both practical and theoretical elements. Students who qualify in this area can pursue the following careers: Gym /Fitness Instructor, Sports Retail Management, Personal Trainer, Sports Development Officer, Recreation and Leisure Management. Students can also achieve F.A.I. and Volleyball Association of Ireland accreditation certification. Graduates can apply to Institutes of technology for follow on courses.
