This course is designed as a collaboration between QQI and FAI and also between Pearson Awarding Body (BTEC) and Liverpool Football Club.
The Pearson BTEC International Specialist Award in Liverpool Coaching Skills and Practice is designed to provide both male and female learners, knowledge and skills required to work in the sport industry as a football coach. It is for learners who wish to explore coaching “The Liverpool Way” and use theories and practices to plan, deliver and review their own coaching session.
Students on this course will gain pathways into higher education and the football and fitness industries, with coaching badges including FAI PDP1, PDP2 and PDP3 which will give the students employment opportunities as a football coach and referee in Ireland.
