The Outdoor Leadership programme has been designed specifically to facilitate learners seeking a pathway to employment in the outdoor and adventure tourism industry.

Successful candidates will graduate with multiple qualifications from QQI, National Governing Bodies (NGB) for Sport and Coaching Ireland. Through practical experiential activities, learners develop personal skills and competencies in outdoor activity modules and then learn how to apply those skills to instruct and train others in the various outdoor activity areas.

The programme provides candidates with the opportunity to obtain the necessary skills to earn a variety of professional instructor training awards that lead directly to employment in the industry.
