This programme is designed to give learners the knowledge and practical skills necessary to prepare them for both employment and further studies in a science-related field. The programme will also allow learners the opportunity to complete work experience in a laboratory environment where they can experience the job of a laboratory assistant. This programme is also ideal for learners who are considering further studies in such areas as Biological and Chemical Science, Food Science, Genetics or a Laboratory Apprenticeship programme.
