Dance Studies is a one-year dance programme at QQI Level 5 which will prepare you for a well-rounded education in dance.
This course offers you the chance to achieve a higher standard of dance technique and performance ability. The course also offers the opportunity to obtain International Dance Certifications.
During the year, you will be expected to complete work experience in a Dance school or Dance Company. Students will also have the opportunity to take part in an Erasmus+ Programme in Austria and France (see page 6 for more details).

Career Progression
Students can progress on to the Level 6 Advanced Certificate in Dance in Inchicore College where on completion, they can become teachers of dance.Students who have completed the one year QQI level 5 Dance programme have successfully auditioned for internationally renowned colleges including the Royal Academy of Dance, the Scottish School of Contemporary Dance, Laban, Fontys, Morea Performing Arts and Bird College.
