This course introduces the student to the area of business administration that has a specific focus on working in the medical sector. It is specifically designed to prepare students for work in the secretarial/reception/administration side of the health sector such as working in medical or dental surgeries, in hospitals or in care homes.
The course will introduce students to the core theories and methodologies of business administration allied to the relevant health sector concepts and terminology. Medical terminology and audio transcription are key modules which will allow studentsu to develop the skills and knowledge for work in this area.
