It is a practical based training course intended for students who wish to progress into a full apprenticeship in areas such as carpentry, joinery, plumbing, blockwork, electrical and energy systems. The course provides students with the opportunity for work experience (1 day per week) while also developing a greater understanding of health and safety in the workplace, mathematics and communication skills.
