This one year course will prepare students for employment in the Health Spas, leisure and wellness facility businesses; including retail and marketing units. It consists of a comprehensive business studies award and specific practical therapy training which will also enable students to work in professional Massage Therapy Clinics. The course leads to internationally recognised qualifications and students supplement their studies with work experience in a relevant area.

Successful graduates may enter employment contracts in destination health spas, cruise ships, leisure facility operations reception areas, and other complementary health -related administrative roles in holistic health centres/hubs. Graduates may also choose to open private, professional, massage therapy clinics having gained industry experience. ITEC qualified Massage Therapists are eligible to register with the Irish Massage Therapy Association and the Irish Complementary Medicine Association.
