The Level 5 Design for Film – Portfolio Preparation course is ideal for students who want to create a strong portfolio for progression into Design for Film studies, or other art and design based third level courses. Working in a supportive classroom environment, learners explore a variety of mediums and techniques while developing a personal creative style. Through hands-on projects, students build a portfolio that demonstrates their interest in film design, creativity, and idea generation. Students will experiment with techniques, developing projects in model making, set and prop design, character creation, and other design processes that help communicate their creative vision. The course will help you create a portfolio highlighting models, sketches, concept work, and process development showing your creative ideas and interest in film.
