Entry Requirements
NFQ Level 8 Business Graduates (Minimum award 2.2) or Non-Business Graduates (Minimum award 2.1),or holders of equivalent professional qualifications. Applicants with considerable and relevant retail experience will also be considered. The MBS is particularly suited to those who wish to pursue a career in retailing, deepen their understanding of retail business processes, and broaden their perspective on retail management. All applications will be assessed on their own merit. The MBS has been host to students from diverse cultures, including the UK, Holland, France, Bulgaria, Canada, India, China and Vietnam who contribute to the richness of the educational experience. The course is conducted in English so a strong working knowledge of English (Minimum 6.5 IELTS or equivalent) is required.
Note: Due to the considerable competition for our postgraduate courses satisfying the minimum entry requirement is not a guarantee of a place. Depending on the course of study applications will be assessed based on your academic grades and may also take into account your work/life experience. Applicants may also be required to attend for interview for specific courses.
