Course Summary

In preparing Integrated Care leads we are offering the Certificate in Principles of Integrated Care which is a 15 credit, level 9 Special Purpose Award involving a single module delivered online over one 12-week semester. The programme is a collaborative development between Munster Technological University (MTU) and the International Foundation of Integrated Care (IFIC).

Entry Requirements

Registered health or social care professional (documentary evidence of professional registration required).

Educational qualification at NFQ Level 8.

For Non-EU applicants:

Educational qualification at NFQ Level 8.

A sufficient level of English to study in Higher Education.

Verify that the medium of instruction for their Bachelor was English or meet one the following minimums:

- IELTS 6.0 (no less than 5.5 in any 1 band)
- PTE Academic 50
- Occupational English Test (OET) 250 overall with no less than 200 in any one skill.

The fees for the programme will be €1,685 and students will not be charged the €95 capitation fee as the programme will be delivered online.

Career Progression

On successful completion of the programme, graduates will have gained 15 credits at NFQ level 9 that can contribute to the achievement of other academic awards, such as a Postgraduate Diploma or Master of Science programme. Students may use the academic credit gained from this programme towards further postgraduate advancement in Integrated Care.
