This programme has been developed in partnership with the Society of Chartered Surveyors of Ireland (SCSI) to address the significant industry skills deficits in mechanical and electrical quantity surveying. The core of this course centres around the development of technical proficiencies with respect to Building Services Technology and the Measurement of same in accordance with prescribed methodologies.

Career Progression
The programme aims to produce graduates for the services sector in the Quantity Surveying profession and in doing so will help address the current knowledge and skills deficit with respect to Mechanical and Electrical Quantity Surveying practitioners. Graduates of the programme will typically be involved with Professional Quantity Surveying practices and or Building Services designers/providers etc.
Upon successful completion of the Post-Graduate Certificate in Mechanical and Electrical Quantity Surveying students may be eligible to progress on to the Level 9 MSC in Project Management.
Further Study
As this programme has 4 modules in the MSc in Project Management, graduates will be exempt these 4 modules if they chose to progress to his master’s programme.
