Course Summary
Drawing on extensive faculty experience in Biostatistics, we are pleased to offer a Professional Certificate in Biostatistics (15 ECTS) comprising 3 modules with a focus on data management and computational skills in the IBM SPSS package, and on biostatistics methodologies ranging from basic probability, to two-group tests, to regression modelling and survival analysis.

Entry Requirements
Understanding and managing data; describing, visualising and exploring data in IBM SPSS
Biostatistics 1 (core, 5 credits, semester 1)
Descriptive statistics, sampling variation, simple parametric and non-parametric tests
Biostatistics II (core, 5 credits, semester 2)
Linear and logistic regression; survival analysis; analysis of repeated measures
