The Investigative person will usually find a particular area of science to be of interest. They are inclined toward intellectual and analytical activities and enjoy observation and theory. These types prefer mentally stimulating environments and often pay close attention to developments in their chosen field.
Linguistic
The Linguistic's interests are usually focused on ideas and information exchange. They tend to like reading a lot, and enjoy discussion about what has been said. Some will want to write about their own ideas and may follow a path towards journalism, story writing or editing. Others will develop skills in other languages, perhaps finding work as a translator or interpreter. How will this Micro-credential be delivered?
• There will be blended delivery with all lectures recorded ’live’ while also giving the option for face-to-face lectures. Timetabling currently has 2-hour slot for lectures. Weekly lectures (2hr) will be given from Week 1 to Week 12 with viewing sessions of learners’ work taking place on Week 6 and 12. These lectures will be live streamed and recorded.
• The VLE (Blackboard) will be used to host lectures including Collaborate Ultra and discussion boards. It will also be used to provide structured access to all resources. Lecture recordings will be automatically published on the VLE. The assignments tool in Blackboard will be used to submit and give feedback on assessments.
