Entry Requirements
(a) A minimum PASS honours bachelor degree (Level 8) in a cognate discipline
or
(b) A minimum PASS honours bachelor degree (Level 8) in a non-cognate discipline with considerable experience and/or ability evidenced by an RPL portfolio of prior experience and learning
or
(c) Equivalent Qualifications. Applicants with equivalent qualifications on the European and International frameworks will also be considered. International students must evidence a proficiency in English language (IELTS 6.0).

(d) Recognised Prior Learning (RPL) / Special Case Registrations: Prospective participants who do not meet the entry requirements for the programme detailed above, but who may qualify for admission by meeting certain other equivalent criteria, should notify the Flexible Learning Office and request consideration under RPL. English Language: Applicants who do not have English as their first language must ensure they satisfy English Language requirements. For entry to undergraduate courses, a minimum score of 5.5 in an IELTS exam is required. For postgraduate courses, a minimum of 6.0 is required. It is the responsibility of the applicant to ensure their English proficiency meets these requirements. We do not require proof of IELTS however, each applicant must ensure that their English is to above standard and they will be able to participate without any language barrier.

The course does not directly or automatically advance or roll into further qualifications but it is well positioned for students in any further interest they may have in this field.

The practicalities of the course has positioned graduates for advancement within their own workplace or for newly skilled in this area. Timetable Details
Number of Weeks: This course runs from September to August and is broken down into 3 semesters. Each semester runs for 12 weeks. The total number of study weeks is 36. The structure of the year is as follows: Semester 1: September – December, Semester 2: January – April, Semester 3: April/May - July/August.
Number of Days/Evenings per week: Online recorded lectures for the modules in each semester will be provided to students at the start of each teaching week. Students will then partake in a live online tutorial class from 7pm – 9pm each Wednesday throughout the semester. Extra learning material will also be provided to students throughout the weeks.
