Entry Requirements

A minimum second-class honours degree (or equivalent) primary degree in Commerce or Business Studies, or in a subject closely related to the proposed area of study

An appropriate Master’s Degree (or equivalent) from a recognised higher education institution.

A Graduate Management Admissions Test (GMAT) score may be requested for some MPhil programmes.

Admission onto the UCD Smurfit School MPhil is subject to stringent entrance criteria, the submission of a proposal outlining your intended line of research, references and, where appropriate, proof of linguistic and academic ability.

They may enjoy being in charge of office filing systems, and using computers and other office equipment to keep things running smoothly. Career Progression

The MPhil from UCD Michael Smurfit Graduate Business School prepares graduates for a wide range of careers. Our recent graduates work in a variety of occupations including management, research, public policy and journalism. Others have gone on to pursue doctoral research studies.

Duration

The duration of this research-based Masters is 18 months to 2 years full-time, or 2 to 4 years part-time.
