Irish College of Humanities & Applied QQI Counselling and Psychotherapy Courses, Limerick, Dublin, IrelandScience runs a Bursary and Scholarship scheme that provides financial support for potential students wishing to study at the college. These awards are, at certain times, available for a range of full and part-time courses and are on an open application process. Anyone may apply and be considered for an award.
ICHAS has to date awarded over €250,000 in bursaries and scholarships as part of this scheme. Now, an exciting new €100,000 Business Bursary Scheme has been created to provide financial support for those looking to study on one of our Undergraduate Business Programmes.

This bursary is for students who intend to travel overseas as part of their work placement module and is open to students from the BSc (Hons) in Agricultural Science and BSc in Agriculture programmes.
Currently, the Agricultural Science Association (ASA) and Glanbia provide sponsorship of €1,000 to students from the BSc in Agriculture programme, while the ASA and Seedtechsponsor students from the BSc (Hons) in Agricultural Science programme. Please note industry sponsors may change each year.
The successful students contribute articles to the Farmers Journal. News items will also feature in the local press from the students' hometown.

Sponsored by Siemens and organised by Engineers Ireland (EI) is awarded annually to a final year undergraduate student on an EI accredited course. The award was launched in April 2014 by Engineers Ireland. The prize is awarded for projects showing innovation in engineering and having development potential. First prize is €1,500 and a trophy.

The Intel Shannon “Paul Whelan” Scholarship provides an exciting opportunity for University of Limerick students studying LM118 – Bachelor of Engineering in Electronic and Computer Engineering or the BSc Computer Systems option of LM121 BSc Computer Science.
The scholarship is awarded annually to outstanding students already placed in the first two years on both programmes. They will receive €2,500 per annum for the remainder of their undergraduate degree provided they maintain a 75% (or equivalent) grade average in their examinations at the end of each year.

The International Consilio Manuque Medicine scholarships has been established by RCSI Alumni to support undergraduate students who have an exceptional academic record of accomplishment and have demonstrated determination and motivation to study medicine at RCSI.
The Scholarship is open to all Non-EU students who are self-funding (i.e. not attending under an another scholarship programme), who have applied to and been accepted on the Graduate Entry Medicine Programme (four year) or Direct Entry Medicine programmes (five and six year tracks). TU Dublin is delighted to offer sixteen International Protection Applicants Scholarships for undergraduate students who meet all of the following criteria:
Students should be an international protection applicant, asylum seeker or a refugee who is not eligible for the state Free Fees scheme, SUSI grants, or any other state support;
Students should meet the academic eligibility criteria for their chosen programme (including English language requirements);
Students must have or intend to have completed the Leaving Certificate examination, a QQI FETAC full award, or have completed the TU Dublin Access Foundation Programme within the last two years;
Students should be living in the Republic of Ireland at the time of application;
Students must be attending university for the first time;

Teach na Gaeilge UCD, first established in 2000, offers students a unique experience. Students from various subject areas have the opportunity to live and work together as Gaeilge, while further developing their individual talents through a range of social and cultural activities. Gaeltacht UCD offers scholarships to 24 students who are fluent Irish speakers and who have the desire and the ability to initiate projects which promote the use of the language.

The Irish Tax Institutes Third Level Scholarship programme offers financial assistance for third-level education progressng towards the Chartered Tax Adviser (CTA) programme as students build a career as a Chartered Tax Adviser (CTA).
It is open to Leaving Certificate students in the Republic of Ireland who are interested in a career in tax but who require financial support to progress to third level. The Irish Tax Institute’s Third-Level Scholarship is open for applicants until 15 April 2024.

This scholarship is for Leaving Cert students who:
· Are interested in working in tax upon completion of their degree; and
· Require financial support to progress through college.
It offers the successful applicant:
· Financial assistance for third-level living expenses and costs (separate to the student grant scheme); · a place on the Chartered Tax Adviser (CTA) programme after their degree;
· Mentoring and support from the Irish Tax Institute; and
· Profile for their CV.

Who is eligible to apply?
Leaving Cert students in the Republic of Ireland who:
· Are interested in a career in tax;
· Require financial support to progress to third-level;
· Feel they will achieve at least 450 points in the Leaving Cert 2024; and
· Will study a relevant third-level undergraduate degree (e.g. law, business, accounting, economics, finance, politics).
How to apply for the scholarship?
The school guidance counsellor, principal or teacher must nominate applicants and return the completed application forms by 15 April 2024.
The application forms include:
· A 300-word profile from the student as to why they should receive the scholarship; and
· A recommendation letter from their school guidance counsellor, principal, teacher or other relevant school personnel.
