The Jason Foley Memorial Scholarship is in honour of the memory of Jason Foley who died on the basketball court of sudden cardiac death syndrome while playing for his local club Glenmary BC, Midleton.  Jason was a Commerce Student at the time of his death.

Awarded to the candidate with the most outstanding academic record in Philosophy to date and aimed at memorialising the academic achievements of our MA student Jean Hogan who overcame particularly difficult circumstances to make these achievements

The Bursary, named after one of the founding fathers of the European Union Jean Monnet (1888-1979), wishes to acknowledge and appreciate the high calibre of students entering the programme each year, and is awarded to the entrant into First Year of the BA European Studies with the highest CAO points score in the Leaving Certificate.

The Bursary will be awarded annually and only once in First Year. No formal application is necessary. The value of the Bursary is €2,000.

The Jean Monnet Scholarship Programme supports academic studies at graduate or research level at a university or similar institution in one of the EU member countries. Scholarships are granted exclusively for academic studies directly related to Turkey’s EU harmonisation process and the EU acquis.

The Trinity scholarship will top up the €20,000 tuition fee scholarship provided by the Jean Monnet Scholarship to ensure the awardees’ full tuition fees are covered. The scholarship applies to the Jean Monnet Scholars from Turkey enrolling into Trinity for the following one-year programmes: LL.M LL.M in International and European Business Law LL.M in International and Comparative Law LL.M in Intellectual Property and Information Technology Law

This one-year fellowship covers an annual stipend of €13,500 and PhD fees up to and including non-EU fees.

The John Feely Foundation was established to commemorate the memory of the former President of ICMSA, Mr. John Feely.
The objective of the foundation is to provide financial support to individuals who intend to choose farming as a career or who wish to further their education as a farmer. The annual scholarships are awarded to four students in their first year of an agricultural course at one of the following agricultural colleges: Clonakilty; Kildalton; Pallaskenry; Gurteen; Mountbellew; Ballyhaise; or studying an agriculture-related course in another third level institution.
