The Ei Electronics Ascent Scholarship will award €2,500 per annum for 3 years to an outstanding TUS student who is studying an eligible course in any of the qualifying disciplines.
Students must have a grade average of 60% or higher in their first semester of 1st year to be eligible to apply. The successful recipient must maintain a minimum of a 60% grade average. Engineering, Science, Robotics, Automation & AI, Computing, Finance, Business, Marketing, Sustainability & Renewable Engineering, Law.
The Google Insight Scholarship programme is the largest scholarship programme of its kind in Ireland. With a funding package of 1.5 million euro, more than 60 undergraduate students will receive scholarship support between 2024-2029.
The scholarship will support 3rd level students from underrepresented and socioeconomically disadvantaged backgrounds and communities, with a particular focus placed on students studying courses related to artificial intelligence (AI) and digital safety.
The fields of AI and digital safety are rapidly evolving, and there is a growing need for scholarships to support students from underserved and socioeconomically disadvantaged backgrounds and communities. The programme aims to assist underrepresented students in completing their undergraduate degree, through scholarship funding and wrap-around support.
To qualify for the scholarship programme applicants must be from an under-represented socioeconomically disadvantaged background. Applicants will need to be registered with their university access office. Applicants will need to fall under one or more of the following categories, including but not limited to:
HEAR Students DARE Students Members of the Traveller community and members of the Roma community Lone Parents and Care leavers Women in STEM
Successful applicants will be awarded €5,000 per year, up to a maximum duration of 5 years. Students must be registered with TUS Midwest Access Office, and also registered to one of the eligible courses.

The GAA have underlined their commitment to the ongoing educational development of their players and members through its bursary scheme. The Munster Council GAA Bursaries (valued at €750 per year) are administered by the Provincial Council and are awarded in accordance with the conditions outlined below and any additional criteria laid down by the individual Provincial Council.

Gold Sports Scholarships cater for students competing at the very highest level of their chosen sport.
TUS Silver Sports Scholarship
Silver Sports Scholarships cater for developing athletes, who are aiming to reach the highest level in their chosen sport.
TUS Bronze Sports Scholarship
Bronze Sports Scholarships are designed to support athletes who compete at club/non-elite level, and also contribute towards their respective sport(s) in other capacities e.g. administration, coaching, fundraising, promotion, etc.

The SVP Education and Training Bursary Fund has been established to support students of all ages who may financially struggle to access or stay in third level education and training programmes.
The 1916 Bursary Fund was announced by the Minister for Education and Skills on 30th December, 2017. The 1916 Bursary Fund commemorates the centenary of 1916 as part of an overall series of measures to encourage participation and success by students from sections of society that are significantly under-represented in higher education.
The TUS Gaelic Grounds Scholarship is open to all members of Limerick GAA. The scholarships aim to give students the opportunity to develop and attain the highest level in their chosen sport while studying in TUS.
The scheme also includes administration scholarships for those who are supporting the TUS sports clubs and their own club/community through other areas, e.g. Social media, Club Administration and demonstrated Community Leadership.
The Student Assistance Fund (SAF) provides financial assistance for students who are experiencing financial difficulty whilst attending college. The fund provides a further source of funding for higher education students in addition to the SUSI grant.
