The purpose of the Consilio Manuque Medicine scholarship is to foster academic excellence and is awarded to the student with the highest combined Irish Leaving Certificate and HPAT score, entering the RCSI Undergraduate Medicine programme. These scholarships are worth €25,000 in total, for each successful applicant, for the duration of the Undergraduate Medicine programme.
  • Complete the online Consilio Manuque Medicine Scholarship application form – including a personal statement (300-500 words) detailing their passion and commitment to study medicine – by the closing date of 1 July. Early application is encouraged.
  • Arrange for a confidential academic referee to complete the online Consilio Manuque Medicine Scholarship confidential academic reference form in advance of the closing date of 1 July.

The International Consilio Manuque Medicine scholarships has been established by RCSI Alumni to support undergraduate students who have an exceptional academic record of accomplishment and have demonstrated determination and motivation to study medicine at RCSI.
 
The Scholarship is open to all Non-EU students who are self-funding (i.e. not attending under an another scholarship programme), who have applied to and been accepted on the Graduate Entry Medicine Programme (four year) or Direct Entry Medicine programmes (five and six year tracks). Students are eligible for consideration when they have accepted their offer to attend the medical school.
