DCU will be offering one full-fee scholarship for a part-time student on one of the following master’s programmes.
Applicants must meet the minimum entry requirements for their programme of interest and are advised to check the requirements on the course page.
An applicant must submit the following: 1. A curriculum vitae, which sets out qualifications and work experience (the CV should be limited to 3 pages) 2. A letter of application which outlines why the applicant should be considered for the scholarship (word limit = 750 words).
The letter should indicate which postgraduate programme interests the applicant. CLOSING DATE 14 June, 2024
DCU Business School provides a €10,000 fee scholarship to be used for part-time postgraduate study in DCU Business School. The 30% Club is a global movement of international Chairs and CEOs who are committed to better gender balance at all levels of their organisations through voluntary actions.

The Access DCU Entry Route (ADER) is aimed at students who, due to their socio-economic background and low family income, face additional barriers to gaining entry to or taking up their place in DCU. The eligibility criteria are the same as those for the Higher Education Access Route (HEAR). Students who have applied to HEAR do not need to apply to ADER unless they are seeking subsidised accommodation.

Each year, under the Access DCU Entry Route (ADER) scheme, DCU offer a small number of en suite study bedrooms free of charge and at 50% discount in the on-campus student residences to students living outside the commuting distance of DCU.
Such students are eligible to apply if their financial circumstances are such that it would be extremely difficult for them to take up their university place. If successful, the room on campus is guaranteed for the first year of the student's studies only.
DCU has extended the 10% Masters Reduced Fee scheme that is exclusive to all DCU graduates and outgoing final year students from the university for the 2024/2025 Academic year.
It applies to students commencing the first year of a full time or part time taught Masters Programme for the academic years 2024/2025.

The KickStart Scholarship Fund was established in 2022 by the Irish Probation Service with the support of the Irish Prison Service. It aims to support people with a criminal justice history who face financial challenges in accessing higher education. In September 2022, the scholarship was developed on a pilot basis and offered by Dublin City University, Maynooth University, Dundalk Institute of Technology and Technological University of the Shannon Midlands Midwest, Athlone Campus (MEND Cluster).
Thanks to the continuation of the pilot project for a second year, DCU is offering 2 scholarships for 2023/24, as follows:
One scholarship of €5000 per year for undergraduate study to a maximum of €20,000 over 4 years for a full-time course, or 6 years for a part-time course.
One scholarship of €1250 for each year of undergraduate study to a maximum of €5000 over 4 years for a full-time course, or 6 years for a part-time course.
DCU Business School and The Liffey Trust will award one scholarship to a DCU Business School student who commenced their studies in September and is studying the LIFE module. Value e3,000 a year.
€1,000 Fee Scholarship to every exter nal student (who is subject to EU fees) taking up a place on a DCU Business School full-timepostgraduate programme in 2023/24 who achieved a first class honours undergraduate degree.
The Google Insight Scholarship programme is the largest scholarship programme of its kind in Ireland. With a funding package of 1.5 million euro, more than 60 undergraduate students will receive scholarship support between 2024-2029.
The scholarship will support 3rd level students from underrepresented and socioeconomically disadvantaged backgrounds and communities, with a particular focus placed on students studying courses related to artificial intelligence (AI) and digital safety.
The fields of AI and digital safety are rapidly evolving, and there is a growing need for scholarships to support students from underserved and socioeconomically disadvantaged backgrounds and communities. The programme aims to assist underrepresented students in completing their undergraduate degree, through scholarship funding and wrap-around support.
To qualify for the scholarship programme applicants must be from an under-represented socioeconomically disadvantaged background. Applicants will need to be registered with their university access office. Applicants will need to fall under one or more of the following categories, including but not limited to:
HEAR Students DARE Students Members of the Traveller community and members of the Roma community Lone Parents and Care leavers Women in STEM
Successful applicants will be awarded €5,000 per year, up to a maximum duration of 5 years. Students must be registered with the DCU Access Office, and also registered to one of the eligible courses.

McAleese Scholarship for Northern Ireland Students
For entry September 2023, DCU applicants with a permanent home address in Northern Ireland, may be eligible to apply for a McAleese Scholarship. The scholarship includes a cash award and allows successful applicants to gain one of up to five reserved places across a number of DCU undergraduate courses.
