The School of Business Entrepreneurial Scholarship programme encourages and rewards an inspiring School of Business undergraduate student who demonstrate an innovative and entrepreneurial spirit. The successful student will receive a bursary of €2,000 per year of study (to be paid in two instalments per programme year) along with €500 per semester for student services. The student will also be part of the Student Ambassador programme for the duration of their studies, representing SETU in Waterford and the School.

Awarded on the results of the BA in Modern Irish to undertake a MA or MLitt.

Three scholarships are offered over a 4-year period for PhD candidates in any of the following areas: - Systematic Theology/ Liturgy - Moral Theology / Theological Ethics - Ecclesiastical History - Biblical Studies / Sacred Scripture Each scholarship includes tuition fees (currently of the order of €5500), research allowance, and on-campus residence plan (accommodation and meals, which may be awarded as a personal stipend in the order of €10,000 per annum). Application involves the formulation of a research proposal in line with application guidelines.

When the necessary skills development opportunities are not available physically in Ireland, the Bursary Award allows bursary recipients to participate in in-person or online international skills development programmes, workshops, and structured work programmes to assist their professional development. The purpose of the scheme is to expose industry practitioners to the best skills development expertise and work situations internationally in person or online. In all cases, bursaries are awarded to ensure professional development and skill enhancement in line with international work standards and best practice. Screen Ireland offers three types of bursaries to applicants:

• Funding to attend full time courses and workshops abroad.
• Funding to participate in a structured work programme within international companies and organisations. The work programme can be designed by the individual to specifically match their skills development needs.
• Funding to participate in a substantial international online skills development programme.

This scheme is for industry professionals working in the Irish film, television, animation, and related sectors with a minimum of three years’ full-time experience relevant to the job area of the applicant. For screen writing bursaries, applicants with one year of experience will be considered if they have obtained development funding from Screen Ireland, the MEDIA Programme, or a national broadcaster for a feature length film script or a television series. This award scheme is for a skills development programme or a work programme/placement relevant to the applicant’s area of work only. In cases where an applicant is planning a career transition within the industry, the application must clearly demonstrate the applicant’s commitment to the planned career change.

The Seamus Barrett Scholarship will reopen in late 2023 to a new cohort of 1st year students.

Two scholarships of 5,000 euro each. Thanks to the generous support of the Congregation of the Most Holy Redeemer. The deadline for applications for the scholarship is July. The outcome of the process is expected to be announced by end of July. In addition, one must separately submit an application for the M.Phil. Shannon Colleg of Hotel Management in association with Education Ireland is delighted to offer a 'High School Star' competition to eligible applicants, providing a €6,000 scholarship for undergraduate study. Sizars are Entrance Exhibitioners of limited means who have Commons (evening meal) free of charge.  Application to be considered for the award of a sizarship should be made to the Applications and Admissions Team on or before 1 October of the year of entry. 

Sligo Rovers signed football players who meet the entry criteria for study at ATU Sligo can be co-funded annually by ATU Sligo and Sligo Rovers Football Club. Four fee-waiver Scholarships are available per year for both male and female players. Scholarship holders will also play for the ATU Sligo soccer teams while also being signed with Sligo Rovers.

The Sodexo Scholarship is open to 1^st year students in the Higher Certificate of Professional Cookery, TU643. A Scholarship of €3,000 will be awarded to one successful 1^st year student enrolled in the Higher Certificate of Professional Cookery. The sports scholarship scheme at SETU in Wexford offers a support package and/or offers bursaries to students of exceptional sporting ability. It is open to elite Athletes, participating at International, National, Inter-Provincial, Inter-County, Senior Club level and who have applied for their chosen course at SETU in Wexford.
