The Transitional Justice Institute (TJI) Scholarship will support one student annually on either the LLM Gender, Conflict and Human Rights or the LLM Human Rights Law and Transitional Justice.
The TU Dublin Travel Scholarship in Renewable Energy is an annual scholarship that provides an opportunity for a high-achieving graduate with a Master’s Degree or PhD to pursue a practical work assignment in a developing country in the area of renewable energy.
The recipient works for up to three months on a project managed by the international charity Renewable World.
The Traveller Community Access Programme (TCAP) aims to increase the participation of members from the Traveller Community in RCSI’s undergraduate medicine, physiotherapy and pharmacy programmes.
€3,000 bursary for 25 Travellers who are employed as new apprentices. This would be in addition to their agreed remuneration for the apprenticeship they register for and could be reckonable for tax purposes.
€2,000 incentive payment for the employers of the 25 Traveller apprentices, per apprentice. This would be subject to de minimis State aid rules.
Stream 2
€3,000 bursary for 25 existing Traveller apprentices. This would be in addition to their agreed remuneration for the apprenticeship they register for and could be reckonable for tax purposes.
Stream 3
€3,000 bursary for 25 Travellers to access pre-apprenticeship and Access to Apprenticeship programmes. This would be in addition to any other remuneration they receive and could be reckonable for tax purposes.

Trellix are funding this perpetual scholarship in memory of Alejandro de la Flor who passed away in 2008. Alejandro was an Erasmus exchange student who studied in the Department of Computer Science during the 2007/08 academic year. Alejandro did work placement with Trellix while he was in Cork. Tragically, Alejandro passed away soon after he returned to Spain. The value of this scholarship will be €3000 per year and will be awarded to a third year Computer Science student each year. The scholarship will be paid to the recipient for year 3 and year 4 of their academic programme. McAfee will also offer the holder of the scholarship work placement during year 3 of their degree programme.
This scholarship is open to EU and Non-EU postgraduate students undertaking studies on MSc Law and Finance degree programme. Only applicants that have received a conditional or unconditional offer for a Masters or Postgraduate Diploma programme at Trinity Business School are eligible for one of our partial scholarships.
The Trinity Research Doctorate (Sanctuary) Award is open to applicants in the Irish international protection system, including those seeking asylum, with temporary protection, with refugee status or permission to remain in Ireland on humanitarian grounds. Applicants must have received an unconditional offerfor admission to a full-time PhD in Trinity College Dublin with the support of a Principal Supervisor.
These scholarships cover:
Tuition fees for a four year (full-time) structured PhD programme/research doctorate.
Trinity – Intake Taiwan Joint Scholarship
Trinity College Dublin, the University of Dublin and Intake International Education Group (Taiwan) have launched an exclusive joint scholarship for the fall of 2024 to encourage Taiwanese students to study abroad.
Trinity College Dublin, the University of Dublin and Intake joint scholarships are open to Taiwanese students who enrol in a programme in Trinity for September 2024. Students who apply for the International Foundation programme, a bachelor’s degree, higher diploma or master’s degree (except master’s in business) are eligible to apply for the scholarship.
Award: €3,500 deducted from the first year of tuition fees.
You can claim tax relief on qualifying fees (including the student contribution) that you have paid for third level education courses. The qualifying fees must be paid for an approved course at an approved college.
Other charges and levies do not qualify for relief such as:
Administration fees
Student centre levy
Sports centre charge
USI (Union of Students in Ireland) levy.
You may be the student, or you may pay the fees on the student's behalf. However you can only claim the relief if you are the person who actually paid the fees.
The maximum amount you can claim is €7,000 per course, per person, per academic year.
Each claim is subject to a single disregard amount of €3,000 or €1,500 each tax year.
The first €3,000 is disregarded for of a full-time student or €1,500 for of a part-time student. If you have paid fees for more than one student, this disregard amount will only be deducted from your claim once.
The TUS Gaelic Grounds Scholarship is open to all members of Limerick GAA. The scholarships aim to give students the opportunity to develop and attain the highest level in their chosen sport while studying in TUS.
The scheme also includes administration scholarships for those who are supporting the TUS sports clubs and their own club/community through other areas, e.g. Social media, Club Administration and demonstrated Community Leadership.
The Student Assistance Fund (SAF) provides financial assistance for students who are experiencing financial difficulty whilst attending college. The fund provides a further source of funding for higher education students in addition to the SUSI grant.

The aim of the UCD Sports Scholarship programme is to give talented young people the opportunity of developing their sporting career by offering the highest standards in coaching, training, nutrition, strength and conditioning advice, while also completing their chosen course of study.
The UCD Sport Scholarship programme is independent of the Ad Astra Elite Athlete Programme with the exception of the unsuccessful applications for Ad Astra being transferred to the UCD Sport Scholarship applications upon the consent of such applicants. This year Údarás na Gaeltachta is offering Apprenticeship Scholarships worth over € 2,000 each to applicants, to achieve an apprenticeship qualification as recognized by the Apprenticeship Council.
The University of Limerick (UL) encourages and supports the participation of mature students on all of its programmes. UL recognises and acknowledges the increasingly challenging economic environment which students face, in particular those who are entering college as adult learners to undertake full-time study. The UL40 Mature Student Scholarship offer some financial assistance to adult learners commencing higher education on a full-time basis. A total of 10 scholarships, worth €2,000 each, are available.

Each year, MIC awards up to 50 Undergraduate Entrance Scholarships, valued at €2,000 each, on the basis of results obtained in the Irish Leaving Certificate Examination.
Only performance in the six best subjects taken at the same sitting of the Leaving Certificate will be counted. No special application form is required for the MIC Undergraduate Entrance Scholarships. Successful students will be notified directly.
The Entrance Scholarship is automatically awarded and is available for students who have obtained the following in their Leaving Certificate (calculated from six subjects in one sitting):
Students achieving 400 points or more are awarded €500, to be deposited on “MyCard”
Students achieving 550 points or more are awarded €1,000.
The award is for one academic year following the student’s admission to the University, payable in two instalments – one in November and one in February (subject to the student remaining in good standing with the University). Campus accommodation is not included. There is no need to apply for this scholarship – it is automatically awarded to incoming first year students who meet the requirements

Buildng upon the work of the Inclusive Centenaries and Admissions Office scholarship programmes, the UoS Scholarship Programme opened for applications in 2019. The programme is designed to increase participation at the University of Galway among International Protection applicants, refugees, vulnerable immigrant groups and Irish Travellers. (DCU) is offering postgraduate scholarships to international protection applicants and refugees who are not eligible for state support.

This Programme offers opportunities to study at different levels across UCD and provides free tuition and financial assistance for eligible applicants.
