Students on this course have the opportunity based on successful interviews to take part in Erasmus link programme and gain valuable work experience and crucial life skills in a foreign country for three weeks during the academic year.

The Certificate in Training and Development twelve week programme provides participants with the tools to identify training needs and design, plan, deliver and evaluate quality and engaging training.

The course is aimed at qualified practitioners who wish to pursue a career as a trainer. The course is aimed at individuals already involved in designing and delivering training as part of a project; and team leaders, supervisors and managers required to plan, deliver and/or evaluate training in their workplace.

The QQI Level 6 Training Delivery and Evaluation course is designed to equip learners with the knowledge, skills, and competencies required to effectively deliver and evaluate training sessions. This course is ideal for those who are currently working as trainers or those aspiring to enter the field of training and development.

Trauma informed therapy is a way of working with clients that recognises how traumatic experiences can impact on all domains of being across human development, including behavioural, physical, mental, emotional, spiritual.

The objective in training in Trauma Informed Practices is to understand what trauma is, and what it is not. The purpose of the IICP College Trauma Informed module is to support learners in increasing their understanding of trauma through theoretical knowledge, practice based experiential exercises, and group work.
