If you have a vocation to assist pre school,primary or secondary students and enjoy school life, this course is very fulfilling. You should be mature, hardworking and organised. You will be responsible for securing an appropriate off site work placement.

This programme develops skills, knowledge and understanding of the special needs assistant role. The programme will promote good practice among those working with people with additional needs, special needs children in the primary or secondary classroom situation or as a community care assistant with individuals with special needs.

If you see yourself employed as a liaison between the patient and medical staff in a hospital or medical setting, then then our highly committed team will train you in computer and reception skills, communication techniques, the use of appropriate medical terminology and relevant work experience. Students will attend college four days each week and are required to complete one day per week work experience in a medical administration environment. There will also be a two-week block placement.
