The Advanced Fashion Design course focuses on the creative skills of theme and concept development for fashion design. Core technical modules in advanced pattern drafting and garment construction equip the learner with the skills required to make their own menswear, womenswear or costume collections. Learners will also develop art and design portfolios suitable for application to Institutes of Technology and Universities.

The advanced fashion design course is suited to learners who have already achieved a level 5 certificate or equivalent in fashion design.

This is a second year fashion programme offered to students who complete QQI Level 5 Fashion Design. It allows the learner to advance their design, technical and creative skills. QQI Level 6 fashion has a greater emphasis on sewing and pattern making to facilitate learners who wish to establish their own business or label.

This one-year QQI Level6 Advanced Art course offers students an excellent opportunity to further develop their artistic skillsand creativity in a caring and professional environment. This course enables participants to prepare an Advanced Portfolio in the field of Art and Design. The aim of the course is to provide students with the opportunity to acquire the skill and knowledge to competently work independently in a fine art & design context or to progress to higher education and training.

This is a one-year full-time Art course which offers an opportunity for mature students interested in developing their own art practices further. A practical and enjoyable course with a broad and engaging combination of modules: painting, drawing, creative ceramics, printmaking, image processing and Art appreciation Studies.

Regular outings to Galleries, Art Exhibitions and Field trips, working on location in various places are an integral part of the course.

At the end of this course, you will have begun to establish a personal direction in your art practice. You can then decide to continue to work as an independent artist or to progress to higher education to pursue a fine arts degree.

The aim of this one year full time course is to enable the learner to acquire the knowledge skills and competence to work autonomously and independently in a fine art context and/or to progress to higher education and training.

Learners have the opportunity to build on skills learned at Level 5 and produce a personal body of work, focusing on specific projects.

Applicants will demonstrate specialised knowledge across a range of fine art disciplines in 2 and 3 dimensions.

The aim of this programme is to enable the learner to acquire the knowledge skills and competence to work autonomously and independently in a fine art context and or to progress to higher education and training.

This programme offers a broad range of skills and development opportunities. Special attention is given to facilitate personal creativity. This full-time programme affords students the opportunity to further develop creativity, technical skills and artistic identity through studio work. Students may also further develop animation techniques.
